Shaker Pedia:Terms of Service

There are relatively few 'Terms', this site is for those interested in the "Shakers", officially known as the 'United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing".

We welcome anyone with a sincere interest in the Shakers and the ability to add to our sharing of knowledge about the Shakers. Signup and you will be granted authoring privileges if you have that ability, which is only defined by you're being known to the staff of Shakerpedia or other members of various friends of the Shakers or Shaker Museums.

As far as other terms of the site, all the usual reasonable limits for such topics. Any questions will be decided by the site managers, and such judgments are final.

Please do not abuse such privileges by improper editing other author's contributions or restructuring pages or links. Please refrain from adding links to inappropriate or irrelevant materials.

Limit commercial postings to Shaker products or Shaker reproductions or related products. There are specific spots on the site for such material -- if you can not find the proper place, ask the webmasters.

We do not accept advertising except for such related products, services or programs. We do accept sponsorship for those who wish to support our mission. All proceeds will be donated to SDL or Shaker museums, after covering the minimal costs of running the site.
