OUR PURPOSE:
Our group is dedicated to the study
of the Shaker experience in the west which includes the settlements of:
Our primary goal is to help people become more aware of the Shaker presence and achievement in the
west. We are a group of Shaker enthusiasts, collectors and scholars who have an abiding
interest in all things Shaker and in Shakerism. [Top]
WHERE WE MEET:
Unless otherwise noted, our
bi-monthly meetings are held on the first Fridays of the meeting months at 7:30 P.M. on
the site of old Shaker Union Village, Ohio, now Otterbein Homes, a retirement center owned
by the United Methodist Church.

Membership is $10.00
per person or $12.00 per couple due the first Friday of January.

If you can not travel
to attend our meetings, we invite you to share in our love of Shakerism. Our web site
includes announcements pertaining to Shaker activities nationwide as well as in the
mid-west. Our bi-newsletter will be online. We hope our site will be a resource for
everyone and a place to exchange information and insights.
